Los Olivos Cake Policy
Our restaurant does not permit outside food or desserts to be brought into the restaurant without prior approval.
We have an in-house bakery and are happy to create celebration cakes or desserts when arranged in advance. Bakery cakes purchased elsewhere are priced for at-home consumption and do not account for the costs associated with restaurant service.
If a guest wishes to bring an outside cake, a dessert service fee of $7 per person applies. This fee functions the same way as a corkage fee and covers:
- Loss of in-house dessert sales
- Extended table occupancy
- Service time to cut, plate, serve, and clear
- Dishwashing, polishing, sanitation, and utilities
Guests who do not wish to incur a cake-cutting fee are welcome to enjoy their cake off-site after their meal.
To avoid misunderstandings, all cake requests must be arranged in advance by contacting the restaurant prior to your reservation. Thank you in advance.
